  1. Essential oils are pure extracts from plants. They involve a long critical process and that is why they may appear to be costly.

To test for purity evaporation test is recommended. if a pure essential oil is poured on a construction paper, it is expected to evaporate fast and leave no trace. Impure essential oils tend to evaporate slowly and are known to leave a ring shaped mark on the paper.
  13. Some essential oils such lemon essential oils as are acidic. They are not recommended for use with a ultrasonic essential oil diffuser because adding water to them would form an acidic mist that would corrode metallic items.
  14. Some essential oils are powerful cleaning agents. Lemon grass helps to remove stains and brightens up surfaces when used as a detergent.
  15. Many cosmetic products contain essential oils: most of the high performance cosmetic products such as facial creams, shampoos, conditioner and hair foods have essential oils added in them to make them effective.
